![]() To say that this is a novella only about this merely scratches the surface. ![]() ![]() What I loved even more this book, is the exploration of the nature of war – how they begin and how you can try to end them. The Binti Series is certainly one of them. I love series that build upon each other, because they increase in depth and force. All of these elements from the very beginning of the series come together in this stunning conclusion. So this would be the grand concluding book that would seal my love for it. I find with each Binti sequel, I love the series even more. Once again it is up to Binti, and her intriguing new friend Mwinyi, to intervene–though the elders of her people do not entirely trust her motives–and try to prevent a war that could wipe out her people, once and for all. Unfortunately, although her people are peaceful on the whole, the same cannot be said for the Khoush, who fan the flames of their ancient rivalry with the Meduse.įar from her village when the conflicts start, Binti hurries home, but anger and resentment has already claimed the lives of many close to her. Summaryīinti has returned to her home planet, believing that the violence of the Meduse has been left behind. It is nuanced, full of the characters we love, and absolutely heart wrenching. ![]() ![]() I have been consistently pleased and awed by the wonderful Binti Series and The Night Masquerade is no exception. ![]()
